Intro

Authentic Thai since 1996 — four Seattle locations.

Thai Ginger is a Seattle-area Thai restaurant group with exhibition kitchens, fresh ingredients, and no MSG. Four rooms. A catering book that still has to taste like Thai Ginger when the kitchen is a houseboat galley. Owner Ty Bradford needed a partner who could take charge of marketing and web so the restaurants could keep being restaurants.

Problem

The business waited on the door.

Online presence did not match the brand. The menu was not visually available. The site needed a fresh design and online ordering for each of four locations. Demand was a weather pattern — someone hungry, someone nearby, someone who already knew the name. There was no spare capacity to rebuild marketing from scratch.

Diagnosis

Brochure energy. Weak mobile. Lagging category visibility.

Brand identity mismatched the target guest. The site asked for nothing and guided nowhere — no Attract → Orient → Educate → Convert path. Mobile experience lagged how guests actually order. SimilarWeb Food & Drink / Restaurants category rank showed the visibility gap. The fix was a system: brand + web + SEO + local + ads — not a stack of one-off tactics.

Solution

We rebuilt the system in sequence.

Brand: stakeholder interviews, positioning, custom logo refresh, visual identity and color. Web: UX research, sitemap, wireframes; full visual menu; mobile-friendly; ordering path across four locations. SEO + local: search demand, Google local listings, blog content. Ads: measured Uber Eats flight and Google Ads work on record — so demand did not have to stroll in off the sidewalk.

Outcome

Search found the door. Paid flights paid back.

Organic search traffic rose +79% (4,181 → 7,495 over nine months). Uber Eats returned 4.3× on a measured flight ($225 → $970). Improvement extras on the board below — orders, mobile share, SimilarWeb endpoints, keywords — only where the delta clearly improves. Ty’s voice, verbatim, is on the record.

Before → After

The site had to stop being a brochure.

Before · Wayback ~2017

Brochure energy.

Familiar layout. No clear path from curiosity to a table or an order.

After · Live thaiginger.com

Attract → Orient → Educate → Convert.

Appetite first. Locations clear. Order path obvious.

Proof · Improvement

On-record results, then clear improvement extras.

We don’t invent ROAS. SimilarWeb shows endpoints only — 86,080 → 26,542. No mismatched improved-by delta.

Owner voice · Ty Bradford · VERBATIM

We have four restaurants and don’t have a lot of time to invest in developing our marketing and website. We needed to revamp these areas and DG Studio did a great job of taking charge for us. They are very methodical and communicative so we were able to get exactly what we wanted.
